Bienvenido a Mi Mundo
I am a dedicated professional with a diverse background in social work, security, technical support and education. My career began in security operations in Texas, where I worked as a K9 handler and surveillance monitor.
I later transitioned into education, serving as an ESL educator for refugee and newcomer populations through programs supported by the Office of Refugee Resettlement.
Currently, I work in social services as a case worker in the State of Texas.
My work reflects my commitment to integrity, service, helping, and protecting those who need it most. Across every role, I bring resilience, strategic thinking, cultural awareness, and a results-driven mindset. I envision, I plan, I build, and connect; I make things happen.
With nearly a decade of experience in the social services field, I've made a commitment to helping individuals grow, overcome barriers, and build stable, successful lives.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts with a minor in Psychology, along with two associate degrees and technical certifications.
My academic background enhances my understanding of human behavior, trauma-informed practices, and culturally responsive communication.
My technical education complements my academic background and professional experience. I have strong competencies in technology, problem-solving, and workplace readiness, which enable me to adapt quickly and perform effectively in dynamic professional environments.
Through my years of work experience, I have developed knowledge in criminal psychology, human psychology, civil rights law, criminal justice systems, criminal history analysis, and cybersecurity awareness. Working in my past roles has strengthened my understanding of behavioral patterns, legal frameworks, due process, and ethical decision-making.
Fluent in English and Spanish, I operate confidently in both languages and engage with individuals from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Being bilingual allows me to bridge cultural gaps and serve my communities more effectively.
